Tell Us Your Story!
Share your La Habra experience and enlighten others!
Join us in preserving La Habra's rich history, and the history of those who have lived in and contributed so much to our community! The Old Settlers Historical Society is looking to capture the passion that our prominent citizens have for La Habra.
We are interviewing citizens who have great stories to tell. We want to know how you have influenced and shaped La Habra into what it is today. We want to hear about your storied past, and the adventures that you've had through the years.
Your video-recorded interview will be showcased in our new and upcoming Historical Museum located in La Habra's very first library building! The exhibit will feature a segment of your interview in a 1930's-style movie theater setting.
So tell your story and enlighten hundreds of museum-goers of all ages.

Citrus Fair
We introduced the new South wall displays on the Indian, Mission, and Rancho eras.
Many visitors to the Citrus Fair (which highlighted La Habra's citrus and avocado history) stopped by to visit the museum. They got a chance to try out the new theater and the wonderful video interviews by Jim Gomez.
Artist Matt Southgate was on hand to talk to visitors about his mural and timeline panels.
Thank you, everyone, for all your hard work and efforts!
